CAS(E) This Sketch #66
When I first saw this sketch, I didn't think I'd be able to do anything with it, but then I saw what Kim on the design team made, and I was inspired. Plus a new order of stamps always help to inspire me! The set I used is called Pedal Pushers from PTI. Cardstock is Rustic White, also from PTI. The cloud piece was cut with a die from Paper Smooches.

Boards and Beams
I'm a big fan of Papertrey Ink products, and right now they are celebrating their 7th year in business with fun prizes and contests. This card is for their recipe challenge, using a color combo and sketch which they provide. I used the Boards and Beams set for this one.

RetroSketches #100 Take 2
Here's another card for the RetroSketches 100th sketch challenge. The balloons were made with a punch from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is from PTI. I made a few other cards for this sketch, 2 of which I posted earlier. I like this one the best.
Celebrate the (CAS)E
Here's another birthday card for the (CAS)E This Sketch Challenge #62. I used a PTI set and some paper from my scrap bin. Thanks, Barb!

RetroSketch 100
I spent the day on Sunday crafting with my sister and using her new stamp sets. I made two cards for the RetroSketches 100th sketch using a PTI birthday set.

Peanut Butter and Jelly
This is for the Retro Sketches Challenge #98. The stamp is from the PTI We Go Together. I adore a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but my favorite jelly is strawberry! I made this card with grape jelly in mind.

Back to School
My mother was a teacher. It's not an easy job, but it's so very important. This card is for the Curtain Call challenge: Back to School. I used the PTI stamp set which is filled with lovely sentiments about teachers. The sketch I took from the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I changed it a bit by flipping it on its side and adding the banners.

PTI Stamp Camp: Wrapping up the Day
I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself: I managed to complete all the challenges this year! Some were easy, some were...not. Here's my card for the Gallon Pint Quart challenge. I am hoping to be able to edit these photos a little better once I get to my own computer.
I used another butterfly for the Custom Accents from the Oven.
Fall is coming, so I used pumpkin pie spice for the Scent-sational cards challenge. This one was probably my favorite challenge.
The Limited Ingredients challenge was fun, especially for me since the more choices I have, the harder it is to make a decision!
And finally, the Sugar Coated embellishment. I really don't enjoy working with glitter. It just gets everywhere. But, the event was all about experiment and learning new things, so here's my card.
Thanks so much for looking at all my creations. It was a fun event and I look forward to what the team will come up with for next year!

PTI Stamp Camp: 3, 4, 5
Here is my first attempt - I am posting the picture for your own amusement. Sad little butterfly....
So I am moving on with the 4th challenge, which is to make your own spray mists. This one was fun as I love using misters especially to add a bit of sparkle to a project.
And, for my final picture in this post, I am showing the 5th challenge, which was called Sprinkle of Salt. Here we did watercolor and sprinkled coarse salt over the wet paper, let it dry, and it was suppose to texturize. Mine did not work out for some reason, but I still like the technique.
PTI Stamp Camp: Tea Staining
Challenge #2 of the PTI Stamp Affair is tea staining. I used re-inkers instead of tea, and soaked strips of torn paper into 2 different colors. I used a flower set from Paper Smooches for the background images, and the sentiment is from PTI's Reasons to Smile set. The picture quality isn't the best, but you get the idea.
PTI Stamp Camp: Bake and Take
My sister and I are cooking up new projects today along with many other crafters, for PTI's Stamp Affair event. The first challenge this morning was called Bake and Take. We were given choices of colors and layouts and this is what I came up with.
The stamp set is called Reasons to Smile from PTI. I'll be posting more today, so check back often.

Happy Hexagons
I don't use this Happy Hexagons set from PTI very often, but when I saw this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge, I knew it would work perfectly. I used the colors for the Color Throwdown challenge, also. The first picture turned out well, but the second one not so much, even after some photoshop editing. Oh, well.

Family and Friends
A friend of ours recently moved into a new home, and I've had it in my mind for a while now to make them a card. Here it is, finally, thanks to the sketch challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch. The stamps are from PTI.
Something was happening with my lighting as you can probably see with the light streak across the top of the card.

A Happy Hello
I combined a few different sets for this card, for the Addicted to CAS challenge: circles. The stamps are from the PTI sets Hello Sunshine and Polka Dot Parade #2. The inks are from Stampin Up.

Whatever the Weather
I am making cards for our church's outreach event - our "Welcome Summer" Community Fair. The colors for this week's Color Throwdown work perfectly. The only color I did not incorporate was black. The stamps are from PTI: Background Basics Medallions, Background Basics Super Stripes, and Hello Sunshine. This is the very first card I made, and since I messed up on the bottom section with the yellow, it will be my sample card which will go in my file. Now all I have to do is make 50 more of these!

Happy Birthday Simon, Again
This is my second entry for the Simon Says Stamps birthday challenge. I made another pink card just because I like pink, but this one is decidedly more feminine with the flowers. The stamps are from PTI this time. The layout was also suppose to be for a challenge, but now I can't find it! Oh, well. I still like the card.

Baby Face
I just got the baby face stamp set from PaperTrey Ink, and I was looking for a way to use it. The Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge seemed to be just the thing I needed. I used Background Basics: Super Stripes, also from PTI, for the pink stripes.
