Watercolor Pencils

While browsing the splitcoast stampers gallery, I came across this card, which I immediately sat down to case. The original card maker used watercolor crayons, which I do not have. I do have watercolor pencils, so I experimented with those instead. I used rainbow colors scribbled roughly onto the card base, then took a wet napkin and rubbed until the colors blended. I also used dimensional glaze and microbeads. Finally, I scored some lines in the upper left corner of the card for visual balance. I like how it turned out, and it was fun to do. I've had my watercolor pencils for over 10 years, and this is the first time I've tried using them in this way.

Thanks for looking!
