Gray Skies and Spring Butterflies

This week over at Seize the Birthday, it's anything goes. I was lucky enough to have my sister over yesterday and took advantage of borrowing her supplies to make this card. The envelope was made with a punch, as were the butterflies, which I punched in a variety of pretty spring colors. I added a dot of silver onto each little butterfly. The sentiment comes from Fresh Squeezed Stamps. I am also linking up to CAS-Usual Fridays Shades of Gray.

CAS(E) This Sketch #66

When I first saw this sketch, I didn't think I'd be able to do anything with it, but then I saw what Kim on the design team made, and I was inspired. Plus a new order of stamps always help to inspire me! The set I used is called Pedal Pushers from PTI. Cardstock is Rustic White, also from PTI. The cloud piece was cut with a die from Paper Smooches.

Caught a Bug: Paper Smooches and Unscripted Sketches

Still playing with my stamps from Paper Smooches. This cute little "germ" is from the Healthy Vibes set. The layout comes from the Unscripted Sketches challenge #244. I am also including this in the Paper Smooches Fun and Cute challenge. I've also decided to link in with the CASology Challenge: Bold.

Let it Shine for Paper Smooches

This card is for the fun and cute challenge over at Paper Smooches. The set, Great Chemisty, has lots of little images which I haven't used yet, but today I found a great use for the lightbulb. I used a pen and a ruler to draw the wires, and the sentiment is from Verve. I added some sparkle to the inside of each lightbulb to make it shine!

Considering that we are in the midst of our second snowstorm in the same number of weeks, the lightbulb is timely. I am so very thankful for electricity and all the conveniences it provides, and I am also so very thankful to all the hardworking men and women who keep it up and running!

Hugs!

This cute little critter comes from the Paper Smooches set, Great Chemistry. I've used a few other images from this set, but not this one. I think this layout is perfect for him!
