Sketch Frenzy - Cheerful Heart

I wasn't going to make a card today. Really I wasn't. But I just couldn't help myself when I saw this week's sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday. I am always looking for card designs for the card ministry at my church. I thought I would make a bereavement card, but then I remembered this image from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique, and decided to go a bit more cheery and make an enouragement card.

I started working on this in the morning, but it just wasn't coming together, so I set it aside and was going to give up on it, but it was bugging me all afternoon. So I sat down and gave it another go. I'm glad I finished it, and now I have another template to use for church.

I cut and embossed the scalloped circle with Spellbinders nestabilities, then I lightly inked the image before I removed it from the die cut. All the paper is from my scrap bin, including the patterned paper from DCWV Green Tea Stack. The two square pieces looked rather plain, so I used my cuttlebug and two different embossing folders.

Thanks for Looking!
