Brilliant!

My first attempt at color blocking - I used a long narrow acrylic block and stamped the darker colors once on a scrap piece of paper before applying to my project. After a few failed experiments I came up with something I liked, and I will be teaching this technique to the ladies at my card club this Friday. The stamps come from PTI's Movers and Shakers seniments set. This card is for 2 challenges: CAS-ual Friday for the color blocking and Hand Stamped Sentiments for the colors.

I love the shape you used for the color blocking, what a great way to showcase a color combo! Brilliant and beautiful. At first I thought it was washi tape, but it's all lovely handmade goodness :) Thanks for playing at HSS! Erika
